“I am looking for someone to share in an adventure that I am arranging, and it’s very difficult to find anyone.”

The other day, after I saw the Avengers, Tay and I were having an sms conversation about it and we got onto the ever-amusing game of 'if we were Avengers, who would be who?' Jay, of course, is totally Tony Stark/Iron Man, because he's a cheeky tease, I would be Captain America because I'm the old fashioned (slightly bossy) one, and Jel would be either the Hulk because he used to have crazy temper tantrums as a bub, or Thor, because he's noble and brawny and fights with Iron Man... we couldn't decide if Tay was Black Widow or Hawkeye, because neither of them have much personality to speak of: she prefers Black Widow, because Black Widow happens to be a girl, and I texted back 'Well, they both have great-looking backsides and so do you', because that's the kind of thing that sisters are allowed to say to each other.
I didn't know that Mum had read these messages or had them read to her until we went to see the movie again last night (with grandparents and Dad) and she leaned over to me when Captain America came on screen and asked "Is he the one with the nice bottom?" I chuckled muchly.
And when we came out of the cinema her first comment was 'but they all had great bottoms - and there were so many shots of all the bottoms!"
