What with excellent browsing and sluicing and cheery conversation and what-not the afternoon passed quite happily.

This afternoon (at about 2.45), after much arguement about the venue, myself and the family sat down for a late lunch at a slightly overdecorated restaurant. Whilst waiting for the food someone - I think it was J - began a conversation about attractive Disney characters. Dad and Jel chipped in (I think Ariel got the most votes in the end - after Jessica Rabbit was disqualified). Mum gazed disapprovingly through her eyebrows throughout the conversation, and when Tay turned to me and her and asked for opinions on Disney guys she put in, 'I don't like this topic of conversation, kids. It doesn't seem right.'
Of course, we kept going. My ideas on the subject have already been recorded for posterity. After a bit, when Tay and I agreed that Prince Philip really is the animated dude of dudes, one of my brothers remarked, "Hey, what about that Tangled guy? Flynn something?"
"Oh. Flynnnnn."
My mum blushed, remembering her previous censorious comment. We all laughed. My family is so much fun. X-)
