Watching Chitty Bang Bang today - I got it for Christmas but it had one of those security device thingies on it & I just couldn't be bothered taking it back to Kmart. And then Jayden cleverly hacked into the DVD cover and destroyed the security device so now I can watch it whenever I want :)
I love this film. But I had forgotten how freaky some of it is! This song hits ten on the awesomeness scale - but how weird are the old dudes in black?
I shan't profane this blog with am actual clip of the 'Child-Catcher' because it's seriously too disturbing. If you want some nasty nightmares then watch certain sections of Chitty Bang Bang just before you go to bed. *Shudder* But this movie is yet another of the reasons I looooove Dick Van Dyke. Love Dick Van Dyke. And the children are toooo cute. And the songs are all fantabulous. Now I'll be walking to the train station every day this week humming: 'toot sweets, toot sweets - the candy you whistle, the whistle you eat!'
