Scrumptious As A Cherry Peach Parfait

Hullo

This is just a quick library computer post (because something's weird with our internet AGAIN). I miss you all - at least those of you whom I know read this... if I don't know you then there's really a very slight chance you'd be here at all.

Yesterday I:

Changed a dirty nappy
Fried my brain trying to help a fourth grader with his maths
Turned a girl into broccoli
Listened to a seven-year-old read 'Frog And Toad'
Got laughed at by a baby

It was a good day.

Today I:
Felt Mum's baby move
Ate rissoles at a Chinese New Year celebration
Ate organic fairtrade chocoloate icecream
Bathed three beautiful Lee-babies

I also had an MLIA ('my life is average' for the uninformed - check it out in the sidebar) moment
driving home in the car with my dad and my sister. We had my MP3 plugged into the car's audio system and Taiya, who was riding shotgun, had control of the music. We listened to 'Where'd You Go' by Fort Minor because that's the kind of music that all three of us tolerate - and when the shuffling device changed songs - straight into 'A Whole New World' (I'm a wee bit of a Disney afficionado) I expected Dad to switch tracks immediately. I was very surprised when he turned it all the way up and began belting it along with Aladdin! My favourite was when he took the girl's part and wailed along in a painfully high falsetto. I love my Dad. :)
