Just realised what I got myself into when I started this new story... SO MUCH RESEARCH! I might just have to invent current affairs and make up my own world history because I'm feeling overwhelmed. Where in the world would a modern Scarlet Pimpernel go to smuggle people out of dangerous situations? There are so many possibilites and ALL OF THEM MEAN BUCKETLOADS OF RESEARCH.

Also, when I say smuggling people, I don't mean in the actual people smuggler sense, with rusty dangerous boats and suchlike, although I am completely in favour of people getting out of dangerous situations I don't mean any correlation with the people who make a profit out of refugees.

ReplyDeleteUm, wow! That's a bit embarrassing! I went back and reread my whole blog just now, and I must say, sorry for being such a whingey silly so much of the time! I've been writing this blog for at least three years now and it's been such a great thing to be able to do :-)
