Three films you shouldn't see.
Because they are about 'genius' horrid men who are selfish and horrid. And boring. And womanising.
I usually like musical films, but these were ghastly.
De-Lovely

Do you like Cole Porter? I like his music. I like it a lot less after watching De-Lovely, though. How about a musical about a man who can't sing (and neither can the actor portraying him)? How about a musical about a man who can't sing or be faithful to his wife? How about a musical about a man who can't sing and who has gay affairs and breaks his wife's heart? Ugh.
To be honest, I slept through most of it, which may discount my opinion; however, what I did see bored and disgusted me. Avoid this film.
All That Jazz
OK, so I didn't watch all of this one either. But what I saw of it was lame and dull and monotonous and horrid. The main character was a puffed up little womanising git. Ew. Plus, there were icky scenes and no worthwhile characters.
Nine
Ditto all the above, only slightly better. Why are there so many stories about nasty egotistical men in show business? And why do people feel the need to write long, dull, ugly films about it?
