“I am looking for someone to share in an adventure that I am arranging, and it’s very difficult to find anyone.”

In a terror of delight he put out his hand and took it, and had it.

I hate being over-analytical. It kills me. I've even started over-analysing things whilst they happen. Absolutely horrible.

Watching Enchanted. Wandering through Newtown. Loving backyards. Clouds. Trying out new ways of not thinking too much. Finding that none of them work. Reading George Macdonald. Ogling pretty paper and children's books. Following the video and text blogs of people I don't know on the internet.Waiting for rain. Reading my new Jasper Fforde book. Wearing the vintage cozzie Hannah gave me (and feeling awesome but fat in it). Going on long long walks. Listening to Margaret Helen King, Kaiser Chiefs and Paul Simon. Going to Mum's ultrasound.

Things I'm currently waiting for:
April (the month)

A haircut
The baby
Skinnier legs (more of a waiting and working this one)
A trip to Europe
A day at the beach
A new place to live
Something daring to do
My own Percy Blakeney/Mr Darcy/Wally Meadows/Sam Gamgee/Whoever the heck he really is
A new song to sing
A world-changing opportunity
Peace of mind
Being a nicer person
Heaven

After sitting for a while, each, looking up, saw the other in tears: they were longing after the country whence the shadows fell.
