Hello my dears, Watching 'Hello Dolly' just now, because I just finished Michael Crawford's autobiography (an aside - I don't think biographers should ever ever be allowed to write a work whilst the subject is alive, and I don't think that biographies should ever ever be bought if there is an autobiography to read) and I don't understand people who can resist the hypnotic allure of his matchstick-thin legs twinkling about and Barbra Striesand's effortlessly powerful voice... btw, Michael Crawford is marvellous. Particularly when young and skinny. I don't care if I prematurely attain grandma status by saying so... I might as well add, whilst I am at it, that I think some of John Farnham's songs are quite catchy... and hence the royal wedding photo in all its cuteness. I should take up lawn bowls and bingo. Oh, well, it all adds to my young-fogey panache.
Today I decided to watch the news at 10. The first thing I heard was, "It's 10 pm. Do you know where your children are?" I panicked for a minute and looked around, before realizing that I don't have any children. MLIA
Today, I saw a "Do Not Pop" sign on bubble wrap. I have never been more eager to break the rules in my life. MLIA.
